March 1 is the deadline for the Yearbook Club to place our final Quantity order. Buy your yearbook before March 1 to ensure you get one. Yearbooks will only be available on a first come, first served basis after March 1 so DON’T WAIT! Go to Jostens.com to place an order.

 

Need advice? Earl grey is waiting for your questions. Put any problems in our box in the cafeteria or comment on a Tea Time on our website.

 

Creative Writing Club will not meet today, but will resume next Monday!

 

Charity Spelling Bee:  The Literacy Connections of the Hudson Valley is hosting its annual spelling bee at Marist on March 24th.  If you’d like to participate, grab a partner and sign up with Ms. Wheeler in Room 105. Sponsored by the Creative Writing Club.

 

Varsity Track and Field:  If you are interested in competing in Varsity Track and Field, there will be a meeting Wednesday, February 26th.  The meeting will be in room 141 afterschool.  If you are interested and cannot attend the meeting, please see Mr. Randall or Mr. Sneed.

 

Are you attending Grace Smith House’s Love Shouldn’t Hurt Conference? Then please return the permission slips to Mr. Welch and Ms. Grande as soon as possible. Make sure to do it in person so they can sign off one one part. Thanks!

 

The Dutchess County BOCES CTI field trip will be taken on February 26th, 2020 in the AM. Permission slips and information on course offerings can be picked up in the guidance office.

 

Community Service:  

Earn community service hours and help at the CLS ice cream social! The event will take place in the evening on Thursday, February 27. The PTSO is looking for around 10 volunteers to help. More information is coming soon – check the community service calendar.  See Ms. Dannemann in room 201 or email Rachel Decker at [email protected] to sign up!

 

The Rhinebeck Chamber Music Society is seeking volunteers to help out at their spring concerts! Volunteers will serve as ushers, help with refreshments and help clean up. The first concert is on Sunday, March 15 from 1:30 – 5:30. Check the community service calendar to sign up!

 

Here’s an easy way to fulfill your community service requirement … volunteer to be a camp counselor for the Town of Clinton’s Summer Camp!  Now is the time to apply. See the community service calendar on the RHS website (look in July and August) for more information and to access the application form.
