They’re Creepy and They’re Kooky….and They’re Coming to RHS!

Tickets are now on sale for Rhinebeck High School’s Musical production of The Addams Family!

Performances will take place on Friday, March 27th (7:30 p.m.), Saturday, March 28th (7:30 p.m.), and Sunday, March 29th, (2:00 p.m.) in the Joseph L. Phelan Auditorium: https://search.seatyourself.biz/webstore/accounts/rhinebeckcsd/buy-tix?d=0

 

Sign-ups for Fall 2020 Sport Physicals will be in the Health office starting today. 

Students please make sure you sign up if you need or would like a physical. The physical date is May 21, from 1:30-3:00. This physical will be valid for all of the 20-21 school year.  (As always, you may choose to see your own physician for a physical and provide a copy to the health office).

Be sure to register on Family ID once registration opens for your desired sport.

 

DO YOU DRIVE TO SCHOOL? DO YOU PLAN TO?: In order to park on school grounds students must have completed a parking application and attended the CAPE Teen Driving program. Programs will be offered at the following schools:


Spackenkill – March 18, 2020

Beacon – March 19, 2020

Red Hook- March 24, 2020

Arlington A-L – March 26, 2020

Registration begins promptly at 6:30 pm (6:15 pm at Arlington, John Jay and Roy C. Ketcham). The program runs from 7pm to 8pm.

**Students attending MUST be accompanied by at least one parent or guardian ***Admittance after 7pm will not be allowed. See Ms. V in the main office for more information.

 

Creative Writing Club meets today in Room 105.

 

 Community Service:  

The Rhinebeck Chamber Music Society is seeking volunteers to help out at their spring concerts! Volunteers will serve as ushers, help with refreshments and help clean up. The first concert is on Sunday, March 15 from 1:30 – 5:30. Check the community service calendar to sign up!

 

Here’s an easy way to fulfill your community service requirement … volunteer to be a camp counselor for the Town of Clinton’s Summer Camp!  Now is the time to apply. See the community service calendar on the RHS website (look in July and August) for more information and to access the application form. 

                                                    

Attention seniors in need of community service hours … there are several agencies that are able to offer you hours this spring! Stop by Ms. Dannemann’s room (201) to inquire!
