“The Incredibles” (2004) Review
The Incredibles (2004) is a movie about a family of superheroes who are forced to hide their identities and live as regular people because the public opinion of superheroes is that they are unpredictable and dangerous. The father, Mr. Incredible, misses his old life and views them as the glory days, more than anything else, he wants to be allowed to use his powers to help people. We see a contrast in Mr. Incredible’s old life and his new dull, repetitive, boring office job with a boss who berates him constantly and has no care for anyone other than himself.
The main message of the movie is that everyone has something special about them and instead of allowing themselves to be molded to fit a certain image, they should express themselves and their gifts in a way they like.
I would recommend this movie to anyone who hasn’t seen it and give it a 9/10 since it does look dated compared to modern animated movies.
