Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (2010) is a romantic action comedy film based on a graphic novel series of the same name. It focuses on Scott Pilgrim, played by Michael Cera, who must defeat the seven exes of his new girlfriend, played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Directed by Edgar Wright, the creator of the Cornetto Trilogy, he does an excellent job preserving the atmosphere from the graphic novel and transitioning it perfectly into film, with editing and the ridiculousness of Scott Pilgrim’s world. The comedy holds up pretty well even by today’s standards, and the acting is incredible at keeping the character’s personality fresh and unique. Overall, an incredibly unique movie with great action and pacing, and a great production in general.

I give this movie an 8/10
