This year’s picture day is on the 22nd of September. Pictures will be held this Monday in room 141, so stop by whenever you have a free period or during Community Lunch. College Composition classes will be held in room 106 for the day.
What can we expect from picture day this year? First of all, if I remember only one thing from pictures last year, it was long lines, almost as long as the lunch line (though the lunch line reigns supreme). Pictures were only held in one room, and the line stretched from the 100 wing all the way to the middle of the main high school hallway. It would be smart to get your picture taken during a study hall rather than community lunch. If you can’t make it during a study hall, get to room 141 quickly because most high schoolers will try to get it done then, too. One group all too familiar with these lines are our seniors, who took a group photo out in front of the school on Wednesday. Some of them have known each other since they were little, so taking a group photo is a fitting representation of their friendship.
No matter how long the lines are, it is fun to come to school looking your best. Picture day is a much welcome interruption to the routine of school. To summarize, make sure you get your picture taken as soon as possible for the fastest lines, so try to get it done during your study hall or free period. Make sure to look your sharpest for picture day!
