As the chilly season approaches, Rhinebeck Central School District is hosting it’s annual homecoming bonfire on the front lawn of Rhinebeck High School on October 10th from 6pm-9pm.
As the sky darkens at 6:22pm the first sparks of the fire will fly high, burning its blood orange hue in the air. Local firefighters will be responsible for lighting the fire and on site the whole night. The bonfire is a great place for students and staff to bond with each other, with other members of the district, and to relax with friends. Rhinebeck Central School District invites all of CLS, BMS, and RHS to join the homecoming festivities fireside. Homecoming festivities, which will accompany the bonfire include outdoor games, food vendors, and club fundraisers! Additionally, the bonfire is a great way for RHS students who are involved in clubs to fundraise by providing treats, drinks, and any other fundraisers that may resonate with the club. There will be three different food vendors including a customizable French fry truck– Frites of NY, a tamales and empanadas vendor, and a grilled cheese truck so you’re advised to come on an empty stomach. With that make sure to bring your friends, cash, and your school spirit to the Rhinebeck District’s bonfire- we can’t wait to see you there!
