“Dirty Dancing” (1987) Review

Dirty Dancing (1987) Review

One of the oldest classics in my book I’m never embarrassed to say I adore. Although the acting and special effects need some work, the soundtrack and jump-the-gun love between Baby and Johnny is to die for. It takes on class issues between rich families vs working young adults–like West Side Story–in a coming of age style film fit for all mature viewers.

I loved it then, and I love it now.

4.5 out of 5 stars.
