In the woman-empowering movie known only as Legally Blonde, Elle Woods (Reese Witherspoon) has it all. She has a boyfriend, a trust fund, and all the time in the world. There’s one thing holding her back, her boyfriend (Matthew Davis) won’t purpose because she is “too blonde.” Elle, now determined and given the resources she has, applies to Harvard for a law degree. Although this movie seems like a sexist plot for a woman to become a housewife, that is far from the truth.
