“The Nightmare Before Christmas” (1993) Review
The Nightmare Before Christmas is a feature length stop-motion film directed by Tim Burton. The movie follows the adventures of Jack Skellington (Danny Elfman), the Pumpkin King of Halloweentown, who has become bored of Halloween and stumbles upon Christmastown. He becomes obsessed with the idea of Christmas and when he returns to Halloweentown he convinces the rest of the residents to take over the holiday by kidnapping “Sandy Claws.” The message of this movie and Jack’s adventure is to be content with where you are in life and don’t try to be something you’re not.
This movie is perfect for anyone who wants to watch a movie during the holidays that has a good story and music. I would give this movie an 8/10.
