The Strangers (2008) directed by Bryan Bertino follows the couple, Kristen (Liv Tyler) and James (Scott Speedman) who are spending their weekend at their family vacation home during off season. They are expecting a relaxing weekend until 3 masked strangers show up and make their stay anything but relaxing.

The Strangers was meant to scare audiences; with lots of jump scares and a horrifying premise, it succeeded. Its downfall, however, may be the fact that this movie had no real plot other than being scary.

I would recommend this movie to anyone over the age of 13 looking for a good scare.
