The movie Avatar is a captivating movie to watch as a viewer. The story, CGI, and characters are well done. The thing Avatar is most well known for is its CGI which was very realistic and taking up most of the movie because the main world that the Na’vi live called Pandora is mostly CGI. The main character Jake Sully is a former military member who was paralyzed in war, but new technology could put him into the body of a Na’vi and be able to walk. They have Jake spy on the Na’vi in his new body and he meets a Na’vi woman named Neytiri. Jake falls in love and turns against the military that sent him into the world because he learned the terrible things the military had been doing to the native people of Pandora for resources.

The main villain who is a leader of the military named Miles Quaritch learns of Jake’s desertion and wants to lead the push to take control of Pandora. The movie did a great job making Pandora very grand and beautiful with its bright colors, large trees, vines hanging down, and also the unique animals that roam the world are also very colorful and realistic looking. Overall I give the movie a 9/10 .
