A recent show has started; it is a reboot of a previous movie, Percy Jackson and the Lightning thief! The show is called Percy Jackson and the Olympians; it is a film adaptation of the Percy Jackson book series. A big plot point in the Percy Jackson series is the main character, Perseus, finding his heritage.
In the beginning of the story, he finds himself in a world where he is different from others, he then finds out that he is a demi-god and he finds a home that is safe for him. In the beginning Percy does not know who his godly parent is, so he feels like he doesn’t belong in either the mortal world and the godly world.
The identity exploration of Percy’s life is great and immersive, and it portrays the feelings of the book very well. I would recommend this TV series to kids 10+ and I give it a 8.5/10.
