On Saturday, September 27, the halls of Rhinebeck High School will be lined with exciting STEM activities.
The Rhinebeck Science Foundation is hosting the 2025 Discovery Festival on Saturday, September 27, to celebrate STEM in the Rhinebeck community. The festival will take place between 10am and 2pm at Rhinebeck High School, and admission is free.
The high school will be filled with hands-on science, technology, engineering, arts, and math activities for all to explore. All families are welcome to attend, especially those with children in grades K-8. Some of the events include rock climbing, gumdrop engineering, surgical demos, paper making, 3D printing, a mini planetarium, and more. Food will also be available for purchase.
Rhinebeck High School’s own Robotics Club and Science Club will also hold activities within the event for students to enjoy. The chemistry room will be transformed by science club into a slime, oobleck, and lava lamp making center. The Robotics Club will be holding a demonstration and hands-on lego robot activity in the auditorium hallway.
