“Clueless” (1995) Review

Clueless, directed by Amy Heckering, is a classic coming-of-age film that represents the turning of the millennium. Cher (Alicia Silverstone) is our main character. She’s ditzy and knows what she wants. We see her go through the classic high school emotions, and also witness very important milestones in her life. I loved all the sets in this movie, and the soundtrack. The soundtrack is one of the most important things in a movie, and I would say that because this movie didn’t have stuff written just for this movie, makes it even better. It takes you into Cher’s life. I didn’t enjoy the second half of the storyline, but it was still enjoyable to watch. Loved all the acting, but it doesn’t hold up to today’s standards for society. It promotes eating disorders, and rape culture.

I would rate this movie a 8/10
