There’s nothing that makes Halloween feel festive more than spooky movies, and Disney has produced some of the best. The 1993 film Hocus Pocus follows Max Denison, a stubborn teenager adjusting to the move from LA to Salem, Massachusetts. The myths that float around the school about the witches who were rumored to return and haunt the town suddenly become reality, and it’s Max’s job to save his little sister, and the entire town.

The spooky setting and storyline of Hocus Pocus is everything you need to not only get into the Halloween spirit, but also feel the excitement and imagination of a kid again. It delivers on every expectation and more, I rate it a 9/10.
