The Babadook (2014) is a great film in many ways because it is eye-catching and actually scary. It’s a thriller movie about a grieving widowed wife and her son being haunted by a monster. It catches real-life instances as well as fake ones, Such as a grieving family from a tragic death, and caretaking on the other hand the movie was about a monster too. Altogether the movie is scary and incorporates many things from real-life issues and scary movie thriller issues as well. The movie’s real-life aspect is something unusual but something that happens. They have to stay together and stay strong to “outsmart” the monster they are both seeing.

Overall, I give this movie a 10/10 rating.
