Wednesday October 25, the Rhinebeck Girls Varsity Soccer team won against Sullivan West in a brutal defeat of 4-0.

Goals were scored by Parker Gutterman, Asta Reedtz (x2!!), and Addison Kalafala, with assists from Fiona Murray and Asta Reedtz.

Even though there are still two more rounds of sectionals, this was a huge win for the team because they have not advanced in the tournament since 2017, falling to teams such as SS Seward and Millbrook.

The girls were lucky to get access to the Bard soccer turf field, a lovely sunny day, and a wonderful group of supporters, including parents, puppies, and the RBK boys varsity soccer team.

Clearly, the odds were in the Lady Hawks’ favor on Wednesday, and hopefully they will be Friday as the girls face James O’Neill in the sectional semi final.

Today’s game will be held at the James O’Neill field. The Lady Hawks would love to see their fans come out to support them at 2 pm sharp!
