Seniors who take English at RHS gave an oral presentation featuring the fruits of their research papers to their peers at the end of January.
Hawk Talk winners were elected in each of the four English classes. Each winner received a PTSO-funded $100 gift certificate to Oblong Books, as well as a 3-D printed award designed by Mr. Randall.
This year’s winners and their topics were Killian Briggs (music and memory), Frances Nathan (the legacy of Nabokov’s Lolita), Malcolm Stewart (human exploitation of pigeon intelligence), Luca Andries (must-know info re: the Roman empire).
