Rhinebeck High School Daily Bulletin

 

Today is Friday, October 18, 2019.  It is an A day.

Rhinebeck Reality will begin a contest on Monday—-stay tuned to our daily video bulletins to watch for clues.  There will be a visual clue each day Monday thru Thursday. If you can piece the clues together and answer the question, you’ll win a delicious and fun two-part prize!  

 

Community Service:

 

A Pre-Calc Tutor is needed.  If you are interested please see Ms. Mulkins in guidance.

 

The Discovery Festival on Oct. 26 is drawing near! Sign up to help out and earn community service hours! More information on the community service calendar. Contact Karri Paul to sign up. (845)616-9350 or [email protected].

Earn community service hours at the Village of Rhinebeck’s fall tree planting! Saturday November 2 from 9am – 12pm. Check the community service calendar for more information.

 

Attn Cast of Almost Maine – Please check out the schedule in front of Rm 151 for your rehearsal time for the next few weeks. If you are not getting an email or Remind notice, see Mrs Baer.

 

Rhinebeck’s Got Talent will hold 3 min. auditions for the November Show on Mon and Tues Oct 28 and 29. Sign Up sheets are posted in front of Rm 151.  

 

Attn Stage Crew members: The first stage crew work day is tomorrow – Sat from 12noon – 5pm. Please bring gloves and warm clothing.

SUNDAY’s Stage Crew work day is cancelled. Please try to come on Saturday.

 

Clubs that are interested in having a table during the Talent Show on November 21  – please contact C Baer to arrange.

 

AV club meeting canceled today.

 

Model UN Club meets this Friday in room 104.  Please attend if you intend to run for office or participate this year!!

 

Guidance News

College Visits:

Friday, October 18th 

– 8:45 SUNY New Paltz (this may change)

Please come to the Guidance Office for a pass if you are interested in speaking with a representative.

Reminder: PSAT is THIS SATURDAY!!  October 19th. Please meet in the Auditorium Lobby promptly @ 7:15 am. Students must bring admission ticket, acceptable ID, two #2 pencils with erasers and an approved calculator (see official Student Guide to PSAT). Be sure to practice! Take the complete PSAT practice test you were given at registration. Additional resources: collegeboard.org / psat practice; psat.org / scoring (khan academy). Please see Mr. Heywood or Mr. Palazzolo if you have any questions prior to test day.
