Rhinebeck High School Daily Bulletin

Today is Wednesday, December 11, and it’s a D day.  

As you may know Superintendent Phelan will be leaving our district at the end of January.  And although his are some difficult shoes to fill, the search for a new Superintendent has begun, and YOU have an opportunity to participate!  Students can share their input in focus groups held on Thursday, December 12 during lunch periods.  If you would like to participate,  sign up to RSVP in the main office. Please note: students do not need to sign up ahead of time in order to participate.

Please note that the BMS/RHS Library will be closed after school on Wednesday December 11.

Starting next Monday, Dec. 16th, make your own greeting cards in the Writing Center periods 1, 5, 6, 7 or 8 to! Buy your supplies on and be automatically entered to win a gift card to Oblong Bookstore! Funds raised will help our school’s creative writers attend Lit Con at Woodstock Day School in March.

Come to the Coffeehouse!!   Creative Writing Club and Drama Club are proud to present an evening of literary entertainment. The event will feature a variety of monologues and poetry performed by students as well as the RHS semi-finalists in this year’s Poetry Out Loud Competition. Please join us on TONIGHT at 7pm in the BMS Cafe.  A suggested admission of $5 includes coffee, tea, cocoa, pastries, cookies, etc. Hope to see you there!

Attn Seniors: Yearbook will be taking Senior Superlative Pictures this Thursday during periods 3, 5,and 8.

Please check out the list outside Rm 151 and prepare to take a picture to remember!! See Reyna Martinez for more information. Make ups will be Friday 8th period.

Boys Varsity Soccer Recognition Night

On Wednesday, December 18th at 6:30 PM, the Rhinebeck Central School District will recognize our 2019 Class C State Champion Boys Soccer Team in the RCSD Auditorium.  Please come and join us as the team gets together one last time to commemorate this special season!

Calling All Performers:  The vocal audition packets for the Addams Family Spring Musical are in the chorus room and there are two scripts available for review in the library.

Community Service:

Earn Community Service and help out at the Chancellor Holiday Market on Saturday, December 14th from 10 am to 4 pm or whatever hours you can help!! Contact Ms. Fortunato at [email protected]
