Coraline, a 2009 PG-rated animation, is about an adventurous young girl who finds this other world that matches her ideal, perfect world. But is it so perfect? Along with the captivating plot, the illustrations entice you in with lots of colors- or an eerie lack thereof. They use dull colors to help set the mood and give the viewers this eerie feeling of wondering what’s next. Also, the tunnel Coraline crawls through to get to the other world is a memorable piece.
