“Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” (2021) Review
The film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is another part of the MCU. This film does a really great job of showing Asian legends, like water dragons and kitsunes. Shang-Chi (Simu Liu) grows up with his powerful father who has some secrets, and his mother who might be just as powerful as his father. Suddenly, a gang murders his mother and Shang-Chi is sent to America. He lives under an alias Shawn until he is sent a note from his father. It then follows Shang-Chi finding the truth about his father and his family.
I would rate this movie an 8/10, because I was disappointed in some of the green/blue screen effects. Usually Marvel does a good job of making it look real, but in certain shots it is very obvious that the actors are in front of a green/blue screen.
