“Klaus” (2019) Review

Klaus (2019) is an animated Netflix Original Christmas movie, directed by Sergio Pablos. The film revolves around Jesper, voiced by Jason Schwartzman, who was sent to Smeernburg for being the Postal Academy’s worst student. He must post 6000 letters within a year. The problem is that the town consists of two rival familial clans, the Ellingboes, and the Krums, who are always fighting, so there are barely any letters sent in the Smeernburg. Trying to find people to post letters, he comes across Klaus, a tall reclusive woodsman voiced by J.K. Simmons. With the help of Klaus, they are able to deliver toys to the children of Smeernburg. This movie is a Christmas favorite of mine because of its breathtaking animation style, its comedy, and heartwarming narrative, it is the perfect Christmas movie with the story of Santa Claus.

I give this movie an 8/10
