On Friday, February 7th, the boys’ varsity basketball team played their senior night against Pine Plains. Both the Hawks and the fans did not disappoint as Rhinebeck won 56-43 in front of a packed house. Before the game, relatives of all the seniors joined them for pictures and speeches. The impact from the seniors was instantly felt as Jeremiah Boyd and Connor Meltzer under the basket making amazing post moves and driving to the basket. On the other side of the three point line we had Parker Ruger and Grady Pietras who kept the crowd fired up with their impeccable handles and shooting ability. Spark plug, Jason Gisby-Hanks, starred with his shooting and his elite leadership which kept the team energetic. All of that combined with stellar defensive play by Skylar Greene led to a dominating win.
Our boys’ basketball team took home a win on senior night and it surely will be a night to remember.
