“The Village” (2004) Review
The Village is a suspenseful thriller written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan, in which he uses ignorance and superstition to keep a group of people away from the woods. It takes place in a small Amish-style village where the town’s people have a pact with the creatures that live in the forest. If they don’t enter the forest, they are left unharmed. When one of the villagers challenges the pact and wanders into the woods, the creatures decide to enter the town and send fear throughout the village. This film is for people who love thrillers and unexpected events, as this film has an unseen twist at the end.
I would give The Village an 8/10.
