The 1989 movie Heathers is one of my personal favorites, starring Winona Ryder as Veronica and Christian Slater as Jason Dean (J.D.). The story takes place at what would seem to be a typical high school who’s “popular” group consists of three girls named Heather. Out of her talent of forging handwriting, Veronica manages to get into their group before seeing new kid J.D. and becoming infatuated with a different approach on how to reinvent the social hierarchy at the school, which involves the poison of lead Heather, Heather Chandler [Kim Walker]. From the timeless outfits to the iconic quotes, this movie is a gem from the 80s.
