“The Goldfinch” (2019) Review

When I watched the coming of age drama named The Goldfinch I had no idea what a stunning movie it would be. Our main character is introduced and it shows his childhood, where he was at a New York City museum at the time of a bombing, leading him to lose his mother. In the wreckage, he also manages to steal a painting she had liked called “The Goldfinch,” from hundreds of years ago and worth a fortune. It shows how his life is affected by losing his mother and how no matter what, he carries “The Goldfinch” with him. He meets many people along the way, including characters played by Finn Wolfhard and Sarah Paulson. Once our character grows up, he soon has to face the consequences of stealing such a precious painting. It was a beautifully created movie and I really enjoyed it.
