“Labyrinth” (1986) Review
Labyrinth, starring Jennifer Connelly and David Bowie, is a one of a kind fantasy/musical film. Jennifer’s character, Sarah, wishes her baby brother would be taken away by goblins from her favorite fantasy novel. Her wish comes into fruition one night while babysitting, and thus she is forced to go on a journey through a never-ending labyrinth to win him back from the Goblin King. If you’re a fan of the 80s style cinema, this wild plot is for you. Behind the vivid shots hides an important message warning fans not to take things in life for granted. With music composed by Bowie and a plethora of outlandish beings, this wacky movie never fails to bring entertainment.
