“The Parent Trap” (1998) Review

The 1998 remake of The Parent Trap is a timeless classic from the turn of the Cinematic Millennium. It has aged very well from its release, and has an impressive use of “double photography” to make scenes with both twins appear believable. Lindsey Lohan’s duality of this role makes the film captivating and enjoyable. Not to mention Dennis Quaid and Natasha Richardson’s on-screen chemistry, you can’t help but rooting for their romance in the end.

A sentimental and charming film for the whole family, I give this classic film an 8/10.
