“Nightmare Before Christmas” (1993) Review

Nightmare Before Christmas was written by Tim Burton and directed by Henry Selick. The movie follows Jack Skellington, the pumpkin king, who lives in Halloweentown. He stumbles upon a holiday forest and ends up in Christmastown, where he gets the idea to bring his newfound holiday to his hometown. He struggles with keeping the two towns together and organized, as his ambition threatens Christmas for the human world.

The animation is considered a fantasy and a family movie, perfect for the fall/winter season. The music is eerie, to match the movie. This movie is much like many other Tim Burton films in the way it is filmed.
