Interstellar is a visual spectacle and one of Christopher Nolan’s best works. The use of non-linear timelines. The 2014 film is set in a “Present-Future” in a world without a surplus of food and resources. The main character “Cooper” Played by Matthew McConaughey is a strong-willed father who chooses to leave everything behind in search of a new world for humanity. The rest of the cast is played by giants in the filming industry such as Anne Hathaway, Timothée Chalamet, Matt Damon, and many more. The film follows the crew on their journey from earth out to a wormhole by Saturn and then into a new solar system, which has a black hole in the center rather than a star. However in classic Christopher Nolan fashion this film made cgi a minimum only being used in some shots, for instance the famous cornfield chase scene has no cgi for the film they grew a staggering 500 acres of corn. The use of practical effects and incredible visuals make this film a one of a kind. Furthermore the stunning cinematography accompanied by a masterful score composed by Hans Zimmer brings the film to life and to a different plane of viewing. Overall I would say it is a must watch and rate it a 10/10 film
